Andrew Rice – Chair

Andrew worked in local government for 25 years, most of which was as a human resources manager and for five years as a senior consultant specialising in organisational change and change management. Prior to working in local government Andrew worked in a traninee role for the former Middlesex Probation Service, then for the voluntary sector with young single homeless people and also for a CSV hosted (Springboard Southwark) organisation based in Blackfriars and Peckham helping young unemployed people with no qualifications into work. Andrew has also undertaken a range of voluntary activities, including being a school governor, a team leader and member of the steering group for a homeless project based in Southwark and Lambeth.

Andrew is disabled and has been actively involved in disability issues and rights and campaigns for disabled people in Southwark. He is also an active member of the Forum for Equality and Human Rights in Southwark and of Southwark Council’s Equality and Diversity Panel.

Kemi Olafare – Treasurer

Kemi works as a project accountant for the Royal National Institute of Blind People, monitoring the finances of numerous projects set up to benefit blind and partially sighted people. She became a qualified management accountant whilst working at Imperial College, where she involved in compiling and analysing budgets for undergraduate medical teaching and various university support service departments.

Sophie Armour

Sophie works in Strategy at PwC helping private equity and corporate clients determine long term direction for companies.  She joined the Management Committee at Faces in Focus in 2013 as a way to get more involved in the local area.  She ran student groups at university and has since volunteered with charities in the UK and overseas, such as Order of Malta Volunteers.
